The Learning Tree is an established, child-centered Montessori school. Since 1979, we’ve supported Capitol Hill families with a warm, academically rich environment led by experienced educators.

We focus on the whole child — nurturing emotional and social growth alongside academic exploration. Children learn in inviting indoor spaces and a large outdoor play yard with two outdoor classrooms, developing both their individuality and their ability to connect with others compassionately.
